Do I need to get a CVC ID Card?
The Cedar Valley College (CVC) Identification Card is the official college identification throughout your entire enrollment. Please also note that a Student ID card is required for qualifying students to receive the DART Student GoPass.
This card is mandatory and must be presented to secure campus services
and privileges. First-time cards and card validations are issued
during registration period for all new and returning students. Students
may obtain ID cards during registration or from the Office of Student
Life, Room D101, after registration ends.
Students must present their
paid fee receipts and photo ID to obtain their student ID card.
Duplicate fee receipts are available at no additional cost from the
Business office. There will be a non-refundable replacement fee of ten
dollars ($10) for a card that is lost, stolen, or for those who have
had a name change, or would prefer another photo. All fees for
identification cards should be paid at the Business Cashier
located in Building L. The student identification card is
nontransferable and becomes invalid if the student withdraws from
college before the end of the semester. The use of the card may be
restricted or suspended for any student that does not abide by the
Student Code of Conduct. The card is the property of Cedar Valley
College and will be shown or surrendered as requested by a college
