Run/Walk for the Environment

Whether you have two legs or four, it's fun to run, walk (and bark) in the park!

Green Source DFW invites DCCCD students to the third annual Run for the Environment at Bachman Lake Park on June 3. There will be a 5K chip-timed run, food, drinks and green vendors from around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Free Registration for Students

Registration is normally $25 per attendee, but students at Dallas Community Colleges get in free! Simply visit the registration page and click the "Register" button. On the next page, select  $25.00 Pre-Registration, sign the waiver and click the "Get Me Registered" button. 

Finally, fill out the information for an individual runner. Under promotional codes, use the comp code: GREENFUN. Your regular registration fee will be waived.

  • Dallas Community Colleges is an event sponsor. Please feel free to use the comp code to also register your family and friends.

Event Schedule

  • 9 a.m., Race check-in
  • 10 a.m., Race start
  • 11 a.m. - Noon, Awards ceremony, food and drinks
