The Spring semester has ended, commencement ceremonies have come and gone, and the beginning of the first Summer session is right around the corner. Here's what you should keep in mind to get ready for the summer and a new school year this fall.
August might seem a ways away, but it'll be here before you know it. That means Fall semester classes are on the horizon, so if you haven't registered yet, then
it's time to jump on that.
The Fall registration deadline is Aug. 21 for regular, semester-length classes. Fall semester credit classes begin Aug. 26.
Of course, regular, semester-length classes don't work for everybody. If they don't work for you, check out our Flex Term classes, which you can register for year-round.
(For Summer courses, you can register up until a class has met once. Summer I starts on June 6, and Summer II begins on July 8.)
The Summer scholarship application closed in April, but you still have until June 1 to apply for Fall scholarships.
The DCCCD Foundation offers more than
300 scholarships. Apply today to see how many you're eligible for in time for the Fall.
My Community Services offers DCCCD students information about free or reduced-cost services like housing, food and utilities.
All you have to do is log in using your eConnect information and start searching for what you need. All of the services can be found by searching in just one place!
transfer out of DCCCD? Start doing the work now!
Transfer Services gives you the tools to find out which school is right for you, how you will pay for it and which of those schools offer your major.
We even give you a list of the top schools DCCCD students transfer to.
While you're getting things ready for Fall and Summer, it can be a good idea to
save some money. We've got you covered there, too.
Hit Six Flags before it gets too hot. Check out some furry friends at the Dallas Zoo. Watch a new story at Medieval Times (and eat a great dinner!). Catch a movie at the Angelika.
DCCCD has all those discounts (and more!) lined up for you. If you're going to visit half of those places anyway, you might as well do so at a discounted rate.
