CLASS Center

The CLASS Center is a resource available to CVC employees to enhance knowledge and skills. This was previously the Adjunct/Evening Office. If you are a student and have questions for your adjunct instructors, please contact them directly or contact the appropriate instructional division office.

The CVC Learning And Support Services (CLASS) Center provides opportunities for all employees of Cedar Valley College to enhance knowledge and skills. CLASS Center staff will utilize high-quality, accessible training and professional development opportunities to support Cedar Valley College's purpose and mission.

The CLASS Center will serve the needs of the college in four primary ways:

  • Professional Development
  • Leadership
  • Campus-Wide Assistance
  • Additional Services

Professional Development

The CLASS Center is responsible for the creation, coordination, and delivery of workshops and classes both online and face-to-face.


The CLASS Center staff will be responsible for tracking professional development and performance information regarding CVC employees, coordinating PD funding, and overseeing the accreditation requirement of maintaining credential information regarding faculty at CVC.

The CLASS Center will offer campus-wide support of the following areas:
