60 Percent Dates (Return of Financial Aid Funds)

If you’re receiving financial aid grants or loans, you must attend your classes. Don’t drop or stop attending any class without consulting the Financial Aid Office. Changes in your enrollment level and failing grades may require you to repay federal financial aid funds.
 
Federal regulations require you to repay a portion of financial aid funds if you withdraw from all classes before satisfying the 60 percent completion rule for the enrollment term.

You also may be required to repay financial aid funds if you receive failing grades in all of your classes, unless an instructor can document that you attended class for at least 60 percent of the enrollment period.

The 60 percent dates for 2017-2018 are:

  • Fall 2017: Oct. 25, 2017
  • Spring 2018: March 29, 2018
  • Early Summer 2018 (five-week module): June 24, 2018
  • Late Summer 2018 (five-week module): July 27, 2018
  • Full Summer 2018 (10-week module): July 13, 2018
The 60 percent dates for 2018-2019 are:

  • Fall 2018: Oct. 31, 2018
  • Spring 2019: April 4, 2019
  • Early Summer 2019 (five-week module): June 22, 2018
  • Late Summer 2019 (five-week module): July 24, 2018
  • Full Summer 2019 (10-week module): July 14, 2018
