Who is Eligible For WorkReadyU?

WorkReadyU will help you get the skills you need to succeed in the workforce.

You could earn your GED, enter college or begin career training!

You can get FREE training if:

You are at least 16 years old
You are unable to read, write and/or speak English.


You are at least 18 years old
You cannot pass one or more parts of the TSI (Texas Success Initiative Assessment).

You do not need to have your GED or high school diploma to begin WorkReadyU.

It does not matter how much money you (or your spouse or your parents) make.

The program is open to students of all backgrounds.


Not eligible for this program?

You have other options! WorkReadyU is just one of many great programs offered by the colleges of DCCCD.

Some are free grant-based programs, like Project OnRamp. For others, like some English Language and Writing Classes, you will need to pay tuition. Each college offers something different.
