Air Force General Education Mobile (GEM) Program Tuition Assistance (TA)

If you qualify for Air Force Tuition Assistance (TA), you can apply for TA online using the Air Force Virtual Education Center. This can be done through the Air Force Portal. There are six steps to completing the AFVEC online TA process:

  1. Select a reason for your request
  2. Select Dallas Colleges Online
  3. Enter term dates
  4. Enter the course information
  5. Enter the registration fees
  6. Verify TA information and submit request

After your request is approved, you will receive notification. The approved TA will have two signatures: 1) the approval official and 2) your digital signature. You must send a copy of the approved TA to Dallas Colleges Online via fax.
