Chris Lusk began working at Cedar Valley College in 1989, working first as tool room coordinator and adjunct faculty member in the automotive program, and then as a full-time faculty member for the Dual Credit enrollment program with area high schools. He has served as the program coordinator and a faculty member of both the Automotive Technology and Automotive Technology-Diesel and Heavy Equipment programs since 2004.
Before coming to Cedar Valley, he worked as a make-ready technician at Chuck Fairbanks GM dealership, formerly located in Lancaster but now in DeSoto, and as a sales clerk at Midway Auto Supply in Dallas.
He earned an associate degree in Automotive Technology, as well as all five of the related certificates, from Cedar Valley College. He holds all eight ASE certifications, as well as various other certificates and GM Manufacturers certificates in areas such as transmissions, automotive air conditioning and refrigeration systems, emissions control and vocational education.
