American Veterinary Medical Association since 1978, Cedar Valley’s Veterinary Technology program is also accredited by the
American Animal Hospital Association, which partners with Cedar Valley to offer the distance-education component of our Vet Tech program.

The Vet Tech program operates a 170-acre stock farm on the Cedar Valley College campus for student instruction with breeding herds for horses, cattle and goats. The facility, opened in 2010, increased former space from 8,000 to 32,000 square feet.
Veterinary Technology is a unique animal-related program within the Dallas County Community College District.
