Andy Mungenast earned an Associate in Applied Sciences degree in CIT - Software Programmer/Developer from Cedar Valley College and a bachelor’s degree in applied business administration from Dallas Baptist University, with majors in management information systems, aviation management with a commercial pilot’s license and business management. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce with concentrations in management and management information systems.

He has worked as a programmer and district manager for NCR (formerly National Cash Register, the largest provider of data warehousing and proof equipment in the banking business), as a regional manager for National Semiconductor, and as a network administrator/executive analyst for DISD’s Townview project, integrating $8 million of technology into the new school.

For five years, he provided networking and hardware support to the colleges of DCCCD as a network administrator, and he has served as CIT - Networking/Security faculty for the past six years.
