Bill Crawford received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Texas with a major in painting and drawing and an emphasis on fine art animation and filmmaking.

He began teaching at the University of North Texas and worked in the game, animation and print industries prior to coming to Cedar Valley as a faculty member in 2000. In the game industry, he worked as both an animator and a modeler for PensylAnimations/ParadigmGames. He also worked as a layout artist and graphic artist for LPI publishing. He has shown work at several local and national film festivals and art shows and was chosen one of the best artists in Denton in 1998 by The Denton Record Chronicle. 

He is the coordinator of the Digital Art and Design program at Cedar Valley College and co-chair of the DCCCD Digital Art and Design Curriculum Committee.
