Faculty Counselor, Title III Program
Mwauna Davis is a community college educator with 12 years of experience in Student Services. She has organized and led efforts to build student success programs from the ground up, including the Upward Bound/TRiO program and the Cedar Valley Achievers program, a Title III proactive advising and case management initiative.
She is currently a faculty counselor at Cedar Valley College, and she is primarily responsible for providing leadership for the Cedar Valley Achievers Program and providing case management and counseling services for students. She also teaches Learning Framework, a student success course, and she works in the Academic Advisement Center, helping students develop career goals and good habits for academic success. Mwauna loves her work and enjoys seeing students maximize their potential.
Mwauna Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Texas Woman’s University and a Master of Science degree in human relations and business from Amberton University. She enjoys church involvement, traveling, photography and spending time with her family.
