Get training to become a veterinary technician assistant.
Veterinary technicians represent one of the fastest-growing jobs in the nation for people with an associate degree.
As a vet tech assistant, you’ll take on a lot of different responsibilities.
You’ll clean and sterilize instruments, help prepare animals for surgery, prepare vaccines and serums and help prepare blood samples, among other responsibilities.
In the Veterinary Technician Assistant program at Cedar Valley College, you’ll learn how to handle all that, as well as developing your communication and observational skills.
This program may lead to an occupational license for which a prior criminal history may make a student ineligible. For more information please visit
