A CNA provides basic patient care and generally receives on the job training under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the following settings:
You will learn principles of infection control, communication techniques and the skills to safely care for people. This program follows the standards and curriculum provided by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services and prepares a student for and includes the TDADS Nurse Aide State Exam.
