Cedar Valley College, created as a part of the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) in 1977, is a two-year public community college located in Lancaster, Texas.

Purpose

To ensure Southern Dallas County is vibrant, growing and economically viable for current and future generations.

CREATE A PHENOMENAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT TO EMPOWER STUDENTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL ON CAMPUS AND BEYOND.

  • Fully execute approved projects (bond program)
  • Fully implement Guided Pathways (First Year Experience, Student Engagement)
CREATE AN INVIGORATING WORKPLACE THAT PROMOTES CREATIVITY, INNOVATION AND GROWTH THAT INSPIRES EXCELLENCE AND LEARNING.
  • Care and commitment, professional development, Diversity and Inclusion plan
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Customer Services (internal/external) and overall effective Communications plan
DEVELOP AND SUSTAIN AN IMAGE THAT IS REFLECTIVE OF A HIGH PERFORMING INSTITUTION (WITH FOCUS ON SIX PERFORMANCE MEASURES).
  • Complete and implement full branding/rebranding campaign
  • Develop and implement fully integrated Enrollment Management Plan
