CVC Evening & Weekend Program

Wouldn’t it be great to earn a degree while not sacrificing your other time commitments?

You can with CVC's Evening and Weekend Program!

A pathway that guides you through the credit hours you need to complete the program.

Cedar Valley College is pleased to present an Evening and Weekend Program designed for students who have jobs or other time commitments during the week. Here is how it works:

  • The classes are "hybrid," which means they are a combination of on-campus and online classes, presented in seven-week sessions in the Spring and Fall.
  • The classes are pre-determined, so there's no need to figure out your pathway - it's already been figured out for you!
  • Upon successful completion of the program, a student will have earned the 60 credit hours required for an Associate of Arts degree - no more and no less.
  • Complete the program as part of a student cohort. The cohort model keeps the same groups of students together, which encourages peer support and studying.

Students can enroll starting on Nov. 20 to become part of the first student cohort in Spring 2019, with a new cohort starting each semester.

Please see the planned schedule of classes below. On-campus classes are currently scheduled for Saturdays. For full course details and degree requirements, please refer to the official CVC Catalog.
