CVC Introduces QLess to Reduce Wait Time

Coming soon, Cedar Valley College is introducing new technology to make the enrollment process easier for students.

QLess technology allows students at Cedar Valley College to enter the online queue to speak with staff in admissions, advising, and financial aid concerning activities such as registering for classes, seeking academic advisory services, and applying for financial assistance.

Students will no longer wait in long lines to access the services they need in Building L; instead, students arrive after receiving a summons text and complete their business quickly, using the time they save for other academic and campus activities.

"This has been proven to work well in other education environments, and student response is positive because this allows them to allocate their time more efficiently," said Dr. Lisa Copprue, vice president of student services and enrollment management.
