CVC Places First in Community Health Challenge

Cedar Valley College finished first in its education category in the 2017 “It’s Time Texas” Community Challenge. CVC supported the City of Lancaster in its 2017 campaign. The following are the final results of the statewide contest:

"Cedar Valley College is proud to have finished first in its category for this statewide contest," said Dr. Joe Seabrooks, CVC president. "Special credit goes to our nurse and top health advocate, Mari Brock, for her active role in helping us participate in this competition. We are very much supportive of a healthy learning environment at Cedar Valley."

Members of all winning, runner-up, and recognized communities, as well as the individuals who earned the most points in this year's Challenge, will be invited to an award ceremony to be held at the Texas Capitol.
