Welcome to the Cedar Valley College Testing Center's webpage! The Cedar Valley College Testing Center provides comprehensive testing services for CVC students, faculty, staff, and administrators. The CVC Testing Center is a closed testing site: We administer exams/tests to CVC students only, and we administer proctored/ correspondence tests upon special request.

A photo I.D. is required for ALL testing.
All cellphones MUST be turned COMPLETELY off.
Children are not allowed in the testing center.

Hours (Instructional Tests Only):
Monday - Thursday:
8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Last Test: 7:00pm)
Friday:
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Last Test: 3:00pm)

8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Friday:
8:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Please be aware that testing rooms and computer screens are monitored by cameras.
Please contact the Testing Center for information regarding holiday hours of operation.

First Time in College Students

A New student is a student who has never attended classes in the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) or any college.

Current Enrolled Students

A Continuing student is a student who is currently enrolled or has attended classes within the last 12 months at a Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) college.

Students Transferring in to CVC

A Transfer Student is someone who attended another institution and plans to attend the DCCCD for more than one semester. A Transient Student is a type of transfer student that completes classes for one semester at a DCCCD college then returns to his/her primary institution.
