How Much Does It Cost?

The cost for each test is $33.75 (Texas)

The cost of the GED test varies from state to state. The price you will pay is set by your state. Check your state's testing policies, by logging into MyGed at www.ged.com.

2014 Series: There are four test content areas.

  • Language Arts (includes reading and writing)
  • Science
  • Math
  • Social Studies

The GED Official Practice Test can be accessed through MyGed.

  • $6 per subject
  • Half the length of the actual test
  • Test questions look exactly the same as the real test
  • Instant feedback
  • Personal study plan
