Dr. Rabab Fares
Interim Vice President of Instruction

Rabab Fares joined the Dallas County Community College District in April, 2010 as the Dean/Executive Assistant to the President of Mountain View College and subsequently at Cedar Valley College since October, 2012. She also served as the interim Executive Dean of Math, Science and Allied Health (MSAH) at CVC. Currently, as the Interim Vice President of Instruction, she is responsible for the leadership of the academic programs and services of the college, including Business and Technology, Instructional Support and Distance Education, Liberal Arts, and Math, Science and Allied Health. Prior to joining DCCCD, Dr. Fares worked at El Paso Community College for 28 years and held several top level administrative positions, including: Campus Dean, where she oversaw the entire operation of the campus; Executive Director of the EPCC District Foundation; and Associate Vice President of Marketing and External Affairs.

Dr. Fares holds two Associate's degree in Business from EPCC, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Accounting from UT-El Paso, two Master's degrees in Management and Business Administration from Webster University, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from California Coast University.
