Dr. Nancy Curé
Vice President of Instruction

Nancy Curé joined Cedar Valley College in August 2011 as Vice President of Instruction. She is responsible for the leadership of the academic programs and services of the college including Business and Technology, Instructional Support and Distance Education, Liberal Arts, and Math, Science and Allied Health. Prior to Joining Cedar Valley College, she served as Dean of Enrichment Programs and Services at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois.

She has worked in higher education for over thirty years holding a variety of administrative positions in Instruction and Student Services. She also has served as a full time faculty member and as an adjunct teaching at the associate, bachelors and masters level.

Nancy has earned an Associates degree in Business from Moraine Valley Community College, a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Lewis University, a Masters degree in Management, Organizational Behavior and Organizational Development from Benedictine University, and a Ph.D. in Education and Human Resources, Community College Leadership from Colorado State University.

She has received numerous recognitions and awards including Innovator of the Year. She is also a graduate of the Executive Leadership Institute of the League for Innovation in the Community College.
