Health Services
The Health Services Mission is to promote health, wellness, and preventive care for currently enrolled Cedar Valley College students and employees. A registered nurse coordinates and provides the health services which include:
- First Aid for accident, injury, or illness
- Health information and brochures
- Some non-prescription medicines for students 18 years of age and older.
- Referral information for community health services
- Selected health education & screenings
- Confidential health counseling
- A rest area.
Students are encouraged to discuss their health questions or special concerns with the nurse before attending classes. No information about the individual's health is released without written permission unless required to do so by District policy or the law.
