Application Packet Submission
You must submit a completed application packet to the Veterinary Technology Program at Cedar Valley College prior to the enrollment deadline.
NOTE: This process is separate from applying for general admission to the College. If you are not currently enrolled, please contact the Cedar Valley College Admissions Office to complete an application for college admission or download an application now.
The Veterinary Technology Program application packet MUST include:
- A completed Veterinary Technology application form (included in the application packet).
- One legible copy of transcripts from all colleges previously attended including colleges within the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD). Transcripts are required, even for courses which do not directly apply to the Veterinary Technology Program, by the Admission's Office. Allow 6-8 weeks to receive official transcripts from colleges outside of the DCCCD. If you have taken courses at more than one college in the DCCCD, only one transcript is needed. Allow at least one week to receive an official DCCCD transcript.
- A photocopy of catalog descriptions of all courses taken outside of DCCCD colleges which you seek to transfer to this program are recommended. Courses presented for transfer consideration should be clearly marked on the photocopy.
- A copy of your TAKS scores. You are encouraged to have successfully completed all three areas of the TAKS test prior to application to the Veterinary Technology Program.
- A signed "Statement of Student's Responsibility" form (included in the application packet).
