Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology


Thank you for your interest in the Veterinary Technology Program at Cedar Valley College. The program is a seventy-two (72) credit hour curriculum leading to the Associate of Applied Science Degree. The Veterinary Technology Program has been accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association since 1978. Program graduates are eligible to take the examination to become Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) in Texas and most other states.

General Admission Requirements To The College

Applicants for the Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology must meet general admission requirements as outlined in the college catalog. Applicants who have not finished high school should complete the GED before enrolling in the Veterinary Technology Program.
