Business Administration
Today's business world demands that you have a solid foundation in technical skills, a comprehensive knowledge of the economic climate and an understanding of fundamental business components. Add options in specific business specialties and you have a winning formula for completing a degree or advancing your current career. It's also a great place to hone the skills you'll need for starting your own business.
When you earn a degree or certificate in Business Administration - or even if you just take specific classes for career advancement - you'll receive training in a wide range of business-related disciplines: accounting, marketing, economics, human resources and technology. You'll develop teamwork and leadership skills, as well as the ability to motivate people and communicate effectively.

Business Administration Degree and Certificate
The Business Administration Associate Degree is designed for students seeking a broad program of study in all phases of business practices. This option focuses not only on the core of management (principles of management, organizational behavior, human resources) but also encompasses the critical areas of business operations (principles of marketing, accounting, and business law).
The Business Administration Human Resources Assistant Certificate prepares students for entry-level clerical positions in human resources. Students enrolled in this 15 credit hour program are waived from TASP requirements.
The Skills Achievement Award in Diversity Training is a 6 credit hour program which examines diversity theory and practice from multiple perspectives and explores eliminating systems of oppression based on race, gender, ability, sexual orientation, religion, age, class and other social constructs. The Diversity Training program will improve employees' ability to work successfully with anyone, regardless of background, job status or any other difference. Using a human relations model, students will work to analyze and enhance intercultural relationships while building effective interaction and communication skills in diverse work groups.
