Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology
(HVAC - Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning or
HART - Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology)

The HART Program (Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology) is a comprehensive study of the residential heating and cooling industry. Cedar Valley College's "hands-on" approach to instruction places students in a laboratory equipped with a wide variety of residential split-systems. From the most basic refrigeration class to the advanced troubleshooting course students are given the opportunity to learn and demonstrate their ability to solve complex cooling, heating, and electrical problems.

Cedar Valley College is a member of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, the largest air conditioning organization in the US. This membership gives students access to contractors in the North Texas region and provides an opportunity for direct contact with successful businesses in our area.

Join the team at Cedar Valley College's HART Program were courses lead to Technician III Certification or an Associate of Applied Arts and Science degree.
