What Is Phi Theta Kappa?

PTK - International Honor Society of the Two-Year College

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the International Honor Society for two-year colleges. PTK membership is for students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher and have completed 12 hours of college credit courses. Induction is by invitation only. The mission of PTK is to uphold the hallmarks of the society. The hallmarks include Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. The Cedar Valley Chapter of PTK is Alpha Zeta Omicron.

What does Phi Theta Kappa mean to its members?

Being a member of PTK means self esteem, fellowship with other class mates, the honors stole and tassel at graduation, the honors seal on your transcript, giving back to your school and community, enrichment in your life and pride.
