Mission Statement

The Teaching Learning Center (TLC) nurtures instructional design, critical thinking, and technology skills for faculty at Cedar Valley College. The TLC provides assistance in instructional design and technology in a supportive environment. It also provides a forum for informal faculty discussion.

Services and Equipment Available:

  • Computer workstations with a variety of software including:
    • MS Office 2007
    • The Adobe Master's Collection (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier, Dreamweaver, etc.)
    • Adobe Acrobat Pro
    • Access to Groupwise e-mail, eCampus, e-Connect
    • Several browsers for Internet use
  • Scanners
  • Printer
  • Smart Board
  • Projector
  • Microphones
  • Professional staff members available to assist with instructional design and technology
  • A supportive, quiet work environment
