Adjunct Faculty Online Handbook


Beginning of the Semester

Start Information and Required Documentation

  • Instructors will receive room assignments from their respective departments.
  • Instructors should have their syllabus ready to hand to students at first class meeting.
  • Attendance is required during the first 10 days of the semester (yellow temporary roster should be used).
  • Yellow Temporary Rosters will be used for approximately two weeks - they are distributed to instructor's mail boxes, which are located in the Adjunct Faculty Office (A108).
  • Instructors use eConnect to input official certifications of class attendance on or before the 12th day of class.
  • Certification is critical to Cedar Valley to receive state funding.
  • Certification is critical to students who receive financial aid.
