INCLEMENT WEATHER/CLASS CANCELLATION - How do I find out if class is cancelled in case of inclement weather?
Class cancellation due to inclement weather is determined by the District's Presidents and communicated to the campus via local television and radio stations. The Division Offices and Adjunct Office will also change their voice mail greeting to a notice that campus is closed because of weather.
FIELD TRIP APPROVAL/INSURANCE - Is there a form to complete to take students off campus?
Every time a field trip is planned for a course, regardless whether the trip is mandatory or not, a Wave of Liability form must be completed prior to the trip. Forms may be obtained from the Adjunct Office or Division Office.
ROOM CHANGE - If I want to change my class location and use a different room, may I use any vacant room as long as I notify my students?
If you have a compelling reason to change your class location please talk to your division dean or the Adjunct Office staff. Do not change rooms without permission. All rooms are scheduled by computer.

These students should be directed to the Counseling Center. From the Counseling Center, the student will be directed to the appropriate service - Learning Skills, a developmental course, Special Services, etc.
TEST - Will the Testing Center administer tests when instructors are absent?
Yes, tests can be administered by the Center in the case of your absence. Be sure to check with personnel in the Testing Center for hours of operation and procedures. No final exams are administered in the Testing Center (972-860-8118).

Students can call 972-860-2974 during the day to find out about tutoring services. Tutoring is also available online.
eCampus - Is it possible to manage my course from eConnect instead of eCampus?
eCampus is an online course management system that allows instructors to share course syllabi and schedules, that provides an online grade book that can be quickly uploaded/downloaded with Excel spreadsheets, and that sends and receives assignments without having to do paper printing. To use eCampus, a special code must be added to the class record information. Please contact your academic division office if you would like to obtain eCampus training.
