Keeping Track of the Semester
EXTENDED REGISTRATION
For the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms, a student may be added to classes if the student has missed the first class session. If the student has not registered before the second class session, the student may be added only with a note from the professor stating that the professor wishes the student be added and that the professor will take the responsibility of catching the student up on missed work. No student may be added to a class after meeting of the second class session if that student has not been attending. If the student has been attending, then a note from the professor verifying attendance is required.
In the short terms, May and Winter, the student may be added to a class after meeting of the first class session only if the student has a note from the professor stating that the student was in attendance at the first class meeting.
Professors who are approached by students for adding classes other than under the circumstances outlined above should refer the students to the appropriate Division Dean.
