Mission

The mission of the Cedar Valley College Library is to provide excellent learning environments for Cedar Valley College faculty, staff, and students and to facilitate exceptional instructional opportunities--in and out of the classroom--enhancing creativity, inquiry, and discovery to support faculty, staff, and student success.

Vision Statement

The library strives to integrate print and electronic resources, technology, services, and knowledgeable staff to support the college's curricular and instructional programs. It will focus on enhancing services for its users in a technological environment that is accessible, meaningful and intuitive regardless of the user's location. The library serves as a hub for student learning in a fully networked information environment. The physical facility is an inviting, aesthetically pleasing gathering place that supports active teaching and learning, personal inquiry, collaboration, and information literacy.
