Pre-Registration

  • Pre-registration has closed. If you did not pre-register you will still be able to participate in our onsite registration.
  • Those who registered in advance will enjoy an accelerated check-in process on conference day

Registration Tables

  • Registration begins at 7:30 AM, on Thursday, February 6
  • Registration will take place in four (4) different locations:
    • BHC, EFC, NLC and RLC/ LeCroy will register in L-Building
    • Suggested parking lot: S1, S2 or S3
    • ECC and BJP will register in A- Building
    • Suggested parking lot: S1, S2 or S3
    • CVC and MVC will register in E- Building
    • Suggested parking lot: S1, S2 or S3
    • DO and DSC will register in G- Building
    • Suggested parking lot: W1

Onsite Registration

  • Onsite registration will take place in G- Building. Onsite registration is available for those who did not register online.
  • After signing in at your registration table, you will go to G- Building for breakfast and our opening session.

Who can help me if I get lost?

  • Hospitality Guides will be wearing red, long-sleeve shirts
  • More than 60 CVC faculty and administrators have volunteered to serve you!

Breakout Sessions/Committee Meetings

The conference activities will officially begin with a welcome session at 8:30AM. (See Conference Day Agenda.)
There are three breakout sessions: 10:15am -11:05am, 11:15am–12:05pm, & 1:30pm-2:20pm (See List of Breakout Sessions) 
  • Each session has a variety of offerings.
  • All classes combined have been designed to accommodate 1,300 people. 
  • All presentations are first come, first serve, and they will be closed when capacity is reached. There is no pre-registration for classes.

Food

  • There are two separate breakfast stations:
    • Building E (Overflow)
    • Building G
  • There are three separate lunch stations:
    • Building G
    • Building D
    • Building H
  • Each station will be stocked with the same food items.

Beverage Stations

  • There will be three beverage stations located on campus.
  • Each station will be stocked with coffee, water and fruit-infused water.

    • Building A-2nd Floor
    • 2nd Floor Breezeway B & C
    • 2nd Floor Breezeway C & D

 

Parking

There is plenty of parking, but we encourage you to carpool if possible.
  • Cedar Valley College has three entrances to the campus, Gym entrance, Main entrance (North Dallas Ave) and one on East Wintergreen Road. (See campus map.)
  • Recommended parking for all colleges, except District Office and District Service Center, is S1, S2 or S3
  • Recommended parking for District Office and District Service Center is W1 (Gym parking)
  • Hospitality Guides will be near the parking areas to guide you to your starting point.

What should I wear?

  • Wear walking shoes. We will use most of the campus meeting space, so we encourage you to wear what’s comfortable.

What if I decide not to attend Faculty & Administrator Conference Day?

  • Please consult with your supervisor.
